Proxies
Buy dedicated datacenter proxies with shielded ZEC, then connect to them over HTTP or SOCKS5.
Proxies from ZATS Market give you datacenter IPv4 addresses of your own, with no account, no email, and no name of yours on them. You pay with shielded ZEC from your account's Ironwood pool to ZATS's own shielded address. ZATS buys the addresses for you, and the app shows their credentials.
What you get with proxies
A proxy purchase gives you static IPv4 addresses in one country, over HTTP and SOCKS5.
- One or more addresses on a datacenter network, never residential ones.
- Each address is yours alone, with unlimited traffic.
- A length of one, three, or six months. A month is 31 days.
- A username and a password for each address.
Who holds your proxies
ZATS buys your proxies for you. ZATS's operator, a service that ZATS runs, receives your payment and buys the addresses.
- ZATS holds your payment for the minutes that the order takes. ZATS swaps it into the currency that the provider takes and pays the provider.
- ZATS orders every buyer's proxies through one account of its own at the provider. ZATS reads your credentials from the provider and hands them to your account.
- Abuse reported to the provider can end proxies early, with no refund. If the provider suspends the ZATS account, every buyer's proxies on it stop.
- The ZEC amount covers the provider's price and the cost of the swap, with a buffer against price moves. ZATS keeps what the buffer does not use.
Before you buy proxies
You can choose proxies and see their price without an account. To pay for proxies, you need:
- An account in ZATS Market, unlocked in this browser. See your account.
- Enough shielded ZEC in Ironwood for the proxies and the network fee. To add ZEC, make a deposit.
- Your account's session with ZATS. It opens when you unlock, and it tells ZATS which orders belong to your account.
Ironwood is the shielded pool that your account pays from. The app sends one payment from Ironwood at a time, so an earlier payment must settle first.
Buy proxies
Buying proxies takes three steps: Choose, Review and pay, and Your proxies. Every choice stays in the page address, so a reload opens the same step.
Choose your proxies
Open Explore and select Proxy, or go to app.zats.market/proxy. Under Country, choose a country. A country with nothing left says Sold out.
Under Length, choose a length. Under Addresses, set how many addresses you want with the minus and plus buttons. Check Your order, then select Continue to payment.
Review and pay for the proxies
Check Review your order. To change it, select Change. Type your password, then select Pay.
Get your proxies
The third step follows the order until the provider sets the addresses up. Then it shows their credentials.
An order has a smallest total. If one address for a length costs less than that, the length shows the fewest addresses it sells. While an alert stands in the way, Continue stays closed. Do what the alert says, and Continue to payment opens.
After you pay for proxies
After you pay, the app opens the tracker: the panel that follows the purchase to its end. Each step shows what it waits for and how long it usually takes.

You can close the page. ZATS carries on, and the proxies show on the tracker when you open your account again. The tracker links your payment and ZATS's swap to explorers.

The tracker shows Your proxies once the addresses are ready: one card for each address.
Keep the credentials private
Anyone with these credentials can use the addresses. Share them with nobody.
Each card shows the Address, the HTTP port, the SOCKS5 port, the Username, and the Password. Select Show password to see the password. Then copy the address in the form that your tool takes:
- Copy gives
ip:port:user:pass, with the HTTP port. - Copy URL gives a SOCKS5 URL:
socks5h://user:pass@ip:port.
Paste the line or the URL into the proxy settings of your browser, tool, or script. The tracker shows the date the proxies stay active until. The app does not renew proxies.
Find your proxies later
Every proxy order that you buy stays in the app, under your account. The app asks you to unlock the account first.
- My items lists the orders that your account bought, except failed and refunded purchases. On a phone, the tab is Items.
- Transactions lists every purchase with its status, refunds included. On a phone, the tab is Activity.
Each row opens the order's tracker, with the credentials. The tracker also lists the facts: country, length, addresses, the active-until date, price, ZEC paid, network fee, refund, and order. The app keeps the credentials sealed under your account, and files a sealed copy with ZATS. For the tracker and both lists, see paying and following a purchase.
If a proxy purchase fails
Payments are final once the provider delivers the proxies. If ZATS cannot deliver them, ZATS sends the ZEC back to Ironwood, less the network fee.

| Refunded to Ironwood | Your ZEC went back to Ironwood, less the network fee. |
| Payment not counted | The order lapsed before ZATS counted the payment. ZATS keeps checking. Keep the purchase: its payment traces it. |
| Payment refused | The Zcash network did not take the payment. Nothing left your account. |
The tracker gives the reason for a refund:
- The payment arrived short of the order.
- The addresses sold out before ZATS could order them.
- The price moved too far before the swap.
- The swap could not finish.
- The provider would not deliver the addresses.
